A man from Albany accepts guilty plea for drug trafficking

In Albany, New York, a jury recently found 26-year-old Brandon Bartley guilty of drug trafficking and gun crimes. He faces a minimum of 15 years to life in prison for trafficking fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and possessing over 30 firearms. Bartley confessed to participating in a conspiracy to distribute drugs and admitted that he intended to sell them from his apartment on Western Avenue in Albany. In May 2023, police searched his residence and confiscated 34 firearms, more than 400 grams of fentanyl pills, over 7,000 grams of methamphetamine pills, and more than 700 grams of cocaine.
