Two law enforcement officers harmed in Poughkeepsie vehicle collision

On May 12, the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department faced a challenging situation during a routine traffic stop that resulted in injuries to two of their officers. The incident occurred late in the evening on the 600 block of Main Street. As a red 2007 Lexus attempted to park, it unexpectedly reversed into marked police cars. Good Samaritan in south Edmonton attacked while attempting to intervene in hit-and-run incident

On a Friday morning in south Edmonton, the police were called to a strange series of events involving a collision and an assault. Three suspects were involved, one of whom had stab wounds. The incident began after a collision near Scona Road and 94th Avenue between a black Ford Fusion sedan and a black Hyundai Sonata. The driver of the Ford attempted to flee the scene but was blocked by a woman driving a silver Dodge RAM pickup truck. The two women in the suspect vehicle then assaulted the woman in the pickup truck, leading to a self-defense action where the woman stabbed one of the attackers. The suspects, including a man, then fled the scene, leaving behind injured individuals. Innocent man acquitted of killing former Fettes College teacher Peter Coshan
