David DePape receives 30-year sentence for assault on Paul Pelosi

David DePape, the man who broke into former U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco home and attacked her husband, was sentenced on Friday. DePape, aged 43, entered the couple’s home on Oct. 28, 2022, with the intention of locating Nancy Pelosi. It was revealed during trial testimony that DePape was motivated by right-wing conspiracy theories and admitted to breaking into the Pelosi residence to combat government corruption, hold Speaker Pelosi hostage, and inflict harm if she deceived him. Good Samaritan in south Edmonton attacked while attempting to intervene in hit-and-run incident

On a Friday morning in south Edmonton, the police were called to a strange series of events involving a collision and an assault. Three suspects were involved, one of whom had stab wounds. The incident began after a collision near Scona Road and 94th Avenue between a black Ford Fusion sedan and a black Hyundai Sonata. The driver of the Ford attempted to flee the scene but was blocked by a woman driving a silver Dodge RAM pickup truck. The two women in the suspect vehicle then assaulted the woman in the pickup truck, leading to a self-defense action where the woman stabbed one of the attackers. The suspects, including a man, then fled the scene, leaving behind injured individuals. Innocent man acquitted of killing former Fettes College teacher Peter Coshan

The accused, Paul Black, along with his flatmate, Paul McNaughton, allegedly hatched a plan to steal a substantial amount of money from the victim, Peter Coshan, through a catfishing scheme.
