Man sentenced to life without parole for murder of girlfriend and another man

Gudelio Grande, a 46-year-old man, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the shooting deaths of his girlfriend, Marbeli Castro-Garcia, and another man, Emilio Diaz Chavez, in southeast Bakersfield. The incident took place on July 21, 2019, in the 300 block of East Fairview Road. Grande was found guilty of killing both individuals in a tragic event. Good Samaritan in south Edmonton attacked while attempting to intervene in hit-and-run incident

On a Friday morning in south Edmonton, the police were called to a strange series of events involving a collision and an assault. Three suspects were involved, one of whom had stab wounds. The incident began after a collision near Scona Road and 94th Avenue between a black Ford Fusion sedan and a black Hyundai Sonata. The driver of the Ford attempted to flee the scene but was blocked by a woman driving a silver Dodge RAM pickup truck. The two women in the suspect vehicle then assaulted the woman in the pickup truck, leading to a self-defense action where the woman stabbed one of the attackers. Innocent man acquitted of killing former Fettes College teacher Peter Coshan
