Man in Norfolk sentenced for shooting friend in the face in 2022

Marco Hicks, 32, was sentenced to 32 years in prison for the first-degree murder of his friend, 27-year-old Michael Rivera-Rubert, on September 3, 2022. The incident occurred in a strip mall parking lot in Norfolk, Virginia, where the group had returned after a night out at a nightclub.
