In the early morning hours in Northport, Alabama, an attempted ATM theft occurred at the Alabama One Credit Union on McFarland Boulevard. The Northport police are currently searching for those responsible for this bold crime. Suspects were reported to have used a truck and chains to drag two ATMs from the credit union around 2 a.m. on a Friday. The machines were later discovered abandoned at a nearby church. Good Samaritan in south Edmonton attacked while attempting to intervene in hit-and-run incident

On a Friday morning in south Edmonton, the police were called to a strange series of events involving a collision and an assault. Three suspects were involved, one of whom had stab wounds. The incident began after a collision near Scona Road and 94th Avenue between a black Ford Fusion sedan and a black Hyundai Sonata.
