Alleged Woman Strangles Mother, Conceals Body in Plastic Bags in Locked Closet

In Hanford, California, a 37-year-old woman was recently arrested after her mother was discovered dead, locked in a closet and wrapped in plastic bags. The tragic incident unfolded when a concerned neighbor contacted the Hanford Police Department on May 18 at 2:09 p.m. The neighbor had not seen the elderly woman for a couple of weeks, prompting the welfare check. Upon entering the victim’s home, the police made a grisly discovery. Inside the residence, law enforcement officers found the lifeless body of a senior female who had been locked in a closet.
