Albany man sentenced to 25 years to life for 2022 murder

Willie Green, a 41-year-old man from Albany, was recently sentenced to 25 years to life in state prison for committing second-degree murder in 2022. Green, who was considered a persistent felon, was convicted of the murder charges and more by a jury in April. An indictment alleged that on November 10, 2022, Green intentionally caused the death of Hacief Oliver during a concert where the two men were performing.
