In a video shared on the Office of the Prime Minister's Facebook page, Gonsalves expressed that the visit, spanning five days, will be filled with meetings aimed at deepening the relationship between the two island nations. Prime Minister Philip Pierre of St Lucia embarked on his journey to Taiwan yesterday, echoing the strong bond between the two countries. The Prime Minister's Office stated that Pierre's invitation to witness the inauguration underlines the enduring friendship and cooperation between their nations. The visit will provide Pierre with the opportunity to reinforce the ties of friendship and collaboration between St Lucia and Taiwan before his return home on May 27.
