Man denies responsibility for fatal Panorama Park shooting

Angel Rodriguez, a 24-year-old man, is facing serious charges after being accused of fatally shooting one man and attempting to run over another person in a shocking incident that took place in the parking lot of Panorama Park. The accused pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges in court, standing alongside his lawyer as the charges were read. Good Samaritan in south Edmonton attacked while attempting to intervene in hit-and-run incident

On a Friday morning in south Edmonton, the police were called to a strange series of events involving a collision and an assault. Three suspects were involved, one of whom had stab wounds. The incident began after a collision near Scona Road and 94th Avenue between a black Ford Fusion sedan and a black Hyundai Sonata. The driver of the Ford attempted to flee the scene but was blocked by a woman driving a silver Dodge RAM pickup truck. The two women in the suspect vehicle then assaulted the woman in the pickup truck, leading to a self-defense action where the woman stabbed one of the attackers.
