Trump and his co-defendants request to appeal the decision of disqualifying Fulton County DA Fani Willis.

The defense in the Georgia election interference case, led by former President Donald Trump’s lawyer Steve Sadow, has filed a joint motion to appeal Fulton County Superior Court Judge McAfee’s ruling on the disqualification motions against District Attorney Fani Willis and her office. The motion notes that although the Court found an appearance of impropriety in Willis’ actions, it refused to dismiss the case or disqualify her due to a lack of controlling precedent in Georgia case law.
