Federal Jury Convicts Tampa Man and Woman for Drug Trafficking Involving Cocaine, Fentanyl, and Machine Gun

Elias Xavier Rosario Torres and Veronica Estefania Rodriguez Pinuela, both from Tampa, Florida, have been found guilty by a federal jury of possession with the intent to distribute fentanyl and over 500 grams of cocaine, as well as possession of a machine gun in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. Rosario Torres was also convicted of conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute fentanyl and cocaine and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
